The REAL Living Wage: Because a hard day’s work, deserves a fair day’s pay.

F42 Travel has recently accredited as a Living Wage Employer. Our Living Wage commitment will see everyone working at F42 Travel receive the minimum hourly wage at least of £12 in the UK. This is significantly higher than the government minimum for over 21s, which currently stands at £11.44 per hour.

F42 Travel is a global transport service, providing car rental logistics to over 70 clients worldwide. Having specialised in in motorsport for the last seven years, F42 Travel also services other industries including various sporting events, TV & production, manufacturers and suppliers, corporate events, and catering & hospitality.

The real Living Wage is the only rate calculated according to the costs of living. It provides a voluntary benchmark for employers, like F42 Travel, that wish to ensure their staff earn a wage they can live on, not just the government minimum. Since 2011 the Living Wage movement has delivered a pay rise to over 460,000 people and put £3 billion extra into the pockets of low paid workers.

Dawn Freeman, FD at F42 Travel commented, “Since our inception in 2017, we have worked hard to grow our business to what it is today. As we continue to expand and grow our business, we’re recruiting more great people into the F42 family.

“Our employees are a huge factor in our success, particularly as we embark on our biggest growth year to date. With that, it’s important that we pay our hard-working colleagues fairly, so that they can have the best quality of life in and outside of the workplace We’re incredibly proud to be a part of this initiative as we strive to continue to be a fair, honest, and supportive employer.”

Katherine Chapman, Director, Living Wage Foundation said: “We’re delighted that F42 Travel has joined the movement of over 14,000 responsible employers across the UK who voluntarily commit to go further than the government minimum to make sure all their staff earn enough to live on.

“They join thousands of small businesses, as well as household names such as Burberry, Barclays, Everton Football Club and many more. These businesses recognize that paying the real Living Wage is the mark of a responsible employer and they, like F42, believe that a hard day’s work deserves a fair day’s pay."
